Sorry for the noob question...

Like the title says this is probably a noob question, but I can't seem to find the answer anywhere else. Here's the background to my dilema:

I created a new character and selected Bakra as my starting location (first time). I made my way to Fatoia and got teleported to the Skytouched dragon dude in Puretia by the Union Navigator. From there I went to Laedis to speak with the Mastery Trainer. So now I want to go back to Bakra to pick up where I left off, but I can't find how to teleport back. The Laedis Transportaion Master just sends me back to Puretia. Mr. Skytouched only send me back to Laedis. None of the skyships in Doran Town (Laedis) get me there either.

Please help?

Hello AdeptGamers, it is time (again)

Remember the true scaling patch? Well, this one is 5 times bigger, or even more.
Just to have a quick update: I were busy irl with civil service until the end of June and had a little break. Overall I have been working 3 months on this update including all the planning and execution. This patch is a whole new take in the balancement of DragonSaga/Dragonica, it is entirely new territory and focuses on giving classes back their identities opening up new builds as well as making more viable. It is not perfect and will require more balancing, nor is it the end of the balance patches because PVP will receive other very impactful updates. The next big balance patch will be mainly adjusting Monster and Equipment tiers Lv. 60+ as the current patch will leave a lot of classes with high damage potential so you will feel pretty OP until monsters get a bit more beefy.

Three things before we dig into the big stuff:

  1. Fixed Gold gain from BSQ boxes (waow)
  2. For the next 2 weeks, SoulCraft Randomizers will be on sale by 50%
  3. Added SoulCraft Randomizers to Daisy for 200g/e.
I am going to look into making a randomizer that randomizes a single stat in the next few weeks, though, no promises.

Effect and Stat Calculations:

Crit Rate calculation:

  • Final Crit Rate: Critical Rate Value * 0.3 / 10000 + Final Crit Values + 3% Base Crit Rate

Dodge and Aim have been left unchanged and will be looked at in another patch. Evade has mainly been removed from sets (especially since I don't want only 1-2 classes to be able to build evade).
You can still soulcraft evade, however.

Stat Conversions:

All Stat conversions are now linear and some stats can have multiple conversions to the same Stat (e.g: con to def, str to def).
Stat Conversion Rates are now different from Class to Class. There are base conversion rates, meaning any class that does not list specific conversions rates will have the base ones.

Additionally to the conversions, all base stats have been raised, and additional stats have been added on primary as well as secondary stats per class.
These stats now also scale post Lv. 60 (where it usually stays static and the player gets to choose 5 stats post Lv. 60).
  • Bonus stats have been increased from 5 to 15 per level (61+).
  • All your bonus stats have been reset.
  • Base stats have been raised

Base critical damage has been updated on some classes (affecting from 1st jc on forward).

Regeneration:

Before this update, regeneration was never really relevant unless it came through pots.
Regeneration has received a rework and now is available to be built intentionally! (See SoulCraft changes).

  • HP and MP regeneration are now based off a percentage of your maximum HP and MP:
    • Base HP regeneration: 0.5% of your max Health.
    • HP regeneration interval: Every second.
    • Base MP regeneration: 5% of your maximum Mana.
    • MP regeneration interval: Every 10 seconds.

Currently, all classes have the same % base regen, this may be subject to change in the future.

Soul Crafting:

Big big changes right here. Almost all effects have been revisited and changed, they're not final final so they might vary in the future a bit to balance things out depending how things turn out.

Skills

Since most of calculations and stats have been changed in some form, it was necessary to adjust some skills and passives that provided Regeneration.
I have implemented multiple new features and way of scaling skills, however, not all of them are present in this patch. They will be implemented and shown in the patches where I rework classes a bit. Invokers have already received a part of their rework with some of their healing skills in order to reduce their 1v9 potential and make builds that aren't straight up damage only viable. The point of changing the scaling is to force the player to compensate on a bit of damage for heal, or to just focus on healing (and probably other buffs soon) altogether. I will keep an eye out on how things develop and take further steps to balance things out or make the identities more clear. Do not forget that True Scaling have made their offensive spells fairly strong, and that effect is just increased by the stat conversions that you can see above.

  • Lethal Attack Final Crit Rate reduced to 3-7% from 3-15%
  • Dagger has been adjusted a bit:
    • Mana Cost: 5% Max Mana
    • Now deals additional physical damage equal to 20% of your Max Mana
    • Critical Strikes of this ability will only deal 90% damage

We are going to aim for releasing the source code update for the end of August, or early September. Hopefully there will not be an unforeseen changes needed or delays, but currently we are on track for our original schedule.

The scope of the update has not changed, but I will be included it here so that people can see what is currently planned:

  • Fixed a bug with object loading, which significantly decreases loading time and provides better performance, though not necessarily a FPS increase.
    • We've made another change that should hopefully further increase loading times and fix stability and performance, though it is probably only a minimal difference.
  • Added configuration options to ignore skill, stat and talent popups when leveling up or swapping masteries.
    • DisableNewSkill = True
    • DisableTalentPoint = True
    • DisableAttrPoint = True
    • DisableBagFull = True
  • Overhauling the chat system to fix many bugs, and also to add new channels.
    • We will be adding a trade and recruitment channel; these will be global channels and use megaphones the same as World chat.
    • We will be adding language specific channels, primarily for the following languages: German, French, Japanese, Chinese, Russian, Turkish. We may be willing to add more channels depending on the population of that region.
  • Removed intro movies when opening client.
  • Removed button mash mechanic from capturing Dragons.
    • This is being done to hopefully make it easier for players who have issues with their hands.
  • Increased Shard Bag to 32 pages.
  • Increased Auction House to 60 items.
  • Increased Recipe limit.
  • Increased Friends List to 500.
    • We are also looking at increasing the room mate size, though that is dependent on finding it.
  • Added new functionality so we can release items that allow for maxing out or randomizing the attribute/attribute rate bonus of a dragon without re-egging (this means all skills, and levels remain).
  • Added new functionality so we can release an item that will allow changing the attribute bonus stat for a dragon without re-egging.
  • We are looking into increasing the maximum stats for wild and marketplace dragons (as they use the same system). This will not apply to the egg system as they are on they're on a separate system, but the previously mentioned items can be used to get the new stats.
    • New maximum stats are going to be 9/11.70 for wild caught/marketplace Dragons, at least to start with. We are hoping that the boost in base stats will help to make Dragons a bit more viable for end game dungeons while we start looking at raising the dragon level cap, higher level dragon armor and being able to overstat or shard Dragon armor.
  • New Emoji parsing system similar to Discords where you do :<keyword>: :)dppout: for a custom pouting pillow emoji). This system is a bit more versatile as it does not have the same bugs that are in the current emoji system. We can also add as many emojis as we wish without much overhead to players.
  • Discord Rich Presence has been implemented.
    • It currently shows your character name, your level and the character class.
    • It also has an option that will show your current subzone in game; this can be disabled with a new setting we have added to the configuration: DisableDiscordLocation = True

We are also hoping to offer at least French, German and Russian translated strings by the time we release the update.

Because the Dragons themselves aren't ready for release yet (we have not fully decided on all the names, titles or compendiums) I will just show off 4 new textures for the Sailfin model that @Aiden completed recently.

Originally there was only going to be one done (The last one), but science prevailed and @Aiden went a little crazy. Out of about 20 variations, these are the color combinations that she decided on.

We are also planning to start releasing some of the requested Dragons from the conversion thread, but we will likely be releasing those slowly to start with so as I am not stuck just making Dragons endlessly.

Suggestion Planned B21,D21,B19 Housing problem

B21, D21,B19 they all have no name for the isle.

B21, D21 are they intended as no fly zone for PvP? If not will there be a fix soon?
B19 also looks nice, will it be available for housing in the future?
Most beautiful lands have been taken, will there be anymore Isle release in the future?

I play dragon prophets mainly because there is a feature of housing, PvE/PvP are 2nd/3rd for me.
I would really appreciate if there will be nice 1000x1000 land on a new isle in the future.

Patch Note Completed Dragon's Prophet Weekly Maintenance 8/10/2020

We will be having our weekly routine maintenance at 7 PM PST Monday evening. During the maintenance we will be doing the following:
  • Goldsteel in Tonaph Tomb has the appropriate alignment, so can be captured.
  • Atropus has been modified to scale primarily for Dragon Affinity
  • Tentative fix for Redfeet has been released.
    • We tested skills individually, however it mostly needs to be tested in actual PvP. Because there are edge cases that players have brought up, it is best if we just make it live for testing.
      • So this is mostly working, however we need to fix sorcerer still, and check another small problem. This should hopefully be done in the next week or so.
  • Re-Enabled Fafnir

Bug Report Solved Missing dragon upon using Gacha dragon egg

Not sure if anything can be done about this, but here's what happened just in case.

I created a new character and from the new character gift pack I received a Gacha. The Gacha gave me a Gold Eater dragon egg. When I opened the egg, I got the Dragon Soul skill but no dragon. I checked all the available lair locations possible and there's no Gold Eater dragon anywhere.

It would be nice if I could get it, but if not then I just wanted to report it.

Bug Report Solved Super broken lighting

Hi, I've had this issue since I joined this server and just kinda put up with it because it's not too bothersome and I was way too lazy to look into it, but it's been getting on my nerves more lately
For some reason all the lighting in my game is broken and makes everything look green, especially at night it destroys all visibility so it's super annoying. During the day only the far distance is green. I've messed with the display settings some and it doesn't change at all but I have no clue what I'm doing so :D
It's also possible it's unfixable because my pc is super old, but I'm hoping someone has a suggestion.
Here's what is looks like at night. Also I played on the EU server for years and SH for like 5 minutes and never had this happen.

Suggestion Shard Attunement without confirmation?

when you use Binding Agent you always get the option "Do not remind me again", so you dont have to click ok all the time, which is good.

without them you dont get this option - but when activated the option with binding agents, you also dont have to click ok then while fusing with gold, this somehow makes no sense.

if i remember correctly this option was also available for fusing with gold, back in the days when eu server still had active GM´s, but vanished somehow.
maybe its possible to bring us this option here as well?

Bug Report Solved Glitched/Missing Text After Computer Shut Down

So my computer randomly shut off as I was playing DP and I think it somehow managed to completely break my client? Because now when I boot the game up, all the text is either missing or replaced with code?

Text for npcs is completely blank, so is the text for the esc menu and my abilities. I can't see any of the chat from other players, and the lil enemy icons don't show up when you highlight them. Otherwise the game works exactly the same with no gameplay issues, except when I load in, I do so via the floor and it looks awful

I tried some of the bug fixing methods and letting it update but nothing has fixed it so I'm guessing my only option at this point is to reinstall my client? Sure is the craziest gamebreak I've ever had happen lmao

Bug Report Strange Treasure Chest - Missing Quest

I'm doing the Hidden Expanse secret questline (Wintertide Hidden Quest Guide) in Wintertide. I've done all the steps and obtained the Frost Key. However, the NPC Nicholas Tolir in Ironfang Heights is supposed to give a quest called "A Giant Investigation". Only problem is, he isn't giving the quest and I can't find any reason why.
I included a screenshot of the NPC and his empty dialouge box.

EDIT: For some reason, the quest ONLY appears after doing a nearby quest from a sword. I'm not sure if this is intentional or a bug anymore. It's not mentioned anywhere
