Dragon Hydra

Hey guys

Today I am gonna dig into the hydra dragon family.

So I am gonna start from the basics once again, the basic attacks.
-Impact:
Nothing special
-Strike:
It is a 2-hit bitewith fast execution and average hitbox.
-Pursue:
This is the attack that makes Hydra look awkward. It sprints for 3 steps before almost falling down.
-Sweep:
This is a 2-hit attack too. Sadly damage is lower than strike.

Nor strike nor sweep are worth strenghtening with skills, as hydra is a more defensive oriented dragon anyway.

Hydra evolution skills:
-Twin Soul Force:
This is a pesky skill. Every 20 seconds it gains a 12 second buff to either the physical part or the magical part.
The buff itself is good, the bad part is that sometimes it's phys buff and sometimes it's magical buff. Which makes specializing this dragon in one of the 2 main damage types hard. At lvl 10 it adds +20% modifier and a +150 flat attack damage while also gaining an incredible 50% defense buff with additional 1500 flat defense. But all of either phys type (Phys attack + phys def) or magic type (mag attack + magic defense) Also applies a random 600 to either dragon spell, natural or elemental damage.
-Intimidate:
I think this skill is bugged. Tried it so many times without any major results. Useless.
-Soul drain:
A lovely skill basically heals the dragon a little bit every 10 seconds while providing a near 80% upkeep of +10% phys and magic damage for the dragon. In dragon arena it's useless because it doens't proc. It procs only while you have it summoned AND you have less than max dragon soul.
-Mind Impact:
The only reason why people even have a hydra. It reduces 15% of magic and phys damage of enemies, but that's not why people even pick hydra. It's because this has a SUPER HUGE range and is thus similar to a huge aoe aggro. Except it doesn't pull mobs who are already engaging others.
-Molten Eruption:
An aoe blast centered around hydra that is good for lighting up a candle, and a minor bleed.

Attributes:
Base stats:
Strength - 377
Intelligence - 377
Constitution - 410
Ferocity - 330
Focus - 470
Dragon Affinity - 470
These stats warrant a defensive setup and forget about attacking. Sadly in-game attacking is more appreciated than defending hence hydra is often deemed thrash.
Recommended dragon training is:
27 con - 26 focus - 26 da
or 27 focus - 27 da - 25 con
That is for defensive dragon, as for offensive ones. Please enlighten me.

Skills:
Essentials:
If you went defense, then why not go all the way?
Tough skin, Magic skin, con enchancement.
Healing wind
Soul drain
Forbidden roar

Recommended:
You get more damage from thorny shield than from attacking.
Will to live to have an immortal dragon

Now I am sure people will wonder why in Kronos name would you go and get a hydra?
I am an 108 oracle and here is why while riding a hydra.

Instead of whipping out an ironhide during a sorcerer attack, mount this hydra and laugh :p

Dragon Swiftfoot

Dear community

Here is some knowledge on swiftfoot behaviour.

First things first.
As you may or may not know every dragon has 4 basic attacks.
- Impact
The swiftfoot impact attack is almost the same as other dragons. The swiftfoot starts to run and keeps running, often through the target till it hits. Afterwards there is a 1 second recovery time before it will start new action. It is used primarily when engaging.
- Strike
The swiftfoot has 2 strike attacks. One is animated by a it biting twice in quick succesion. This also means it hits twice. The other is like a jumping a short distance through the target, which hits once. The second jumping strike has a bigger hitbox, while the former second hit can potentially miss. The swiftfoot strike attacks have the lowest damage of all basic attacks. Luckily it doens't happen that often.
- Pursue
The swiftfoot pursue hits twice. It's animated by a short ram.
- Sweeping attack
The sweeping attack is animated by a 2-3 second preparation in which the swiftfoot ducks, then jumps up to do a 180-turn in mid-air. This attack does the most damage of the all basic attacks.

This teaches us that skills which enhance strike attacks are not that useful on swiftfoot, and skills which enhance it's sweeping attack are.

Swiftfoot evolutions skills:
-Dead Angle Attack
This skill is quite good, cause the swiftfoot has the tendency to go through it's target multiple times, which makes it activate it's dead angle attack. However in dragon arena it has low uptime.
-Dragon Raid
This skills is a must have and here are 2 reasons why, ferocity is a swiftfoot strongest attributes which translates to high crit rate. Dragon raid gives up to 40% extra hit power for 20 seconds at lvl 10 which is a good way to boost your damage output. Your next attack deals double damage (101%) at lvl 10. So combined with a high damage skill you have a sick burst.
-Thunder Attack
I haven't fiddled with this evolution skill. Based on description it just gives a 1 time damage whenever the swiftfoot casts the charm skill.
-Agile Souleater
This is an amazing skill to have. The swiftfoot weakest point is it's constitution. Though it doesn't happen that often you get 1 shot. (More from magic attacks as swiftfoot have low magic defense.) Most of the time you get 2 shot by enemy dragons. This skills makes your dragon recover hp every 2 second. Now here's the catch at lvl 10 you heal up to 60% of your hp every 2 seconds. This makes your dragons practically invincible during 20 seconds. A big penalty is that Souleater Impact on a swiftfoot has low damage and small hitbox.
-Electric Banishment
This is an ok skill. It transforms paralyzing current from a small cc only skill in a skill that also buffs your damage output by a small flat amount for 10 seconds. It is particularly good with multihit skills. Like Cyclone assault for example.

Attributes:
Base stats:
Strength - 424
Intelligence - 377
Constitution - 330
Ferocity - 517
Focus - 438
Dragon Affinity - 410
For the min-maxers between us.
As you can see the Ferocity attribute is the highest and the constitution attribute is the lowest.
So to capitalize on the training level (because it is multiplicative) it's better to get more training on stat with more base.
A possible distribution of training is
27 levels in Fero
27 levels in Focus/Strength
25 levels in Strength/Focus
1 level in DA/INT/CON.
Another one is 30 in Fer, 28 str, 16 con, 12 focus.
The former is glasscannon, the latter is more balanced.

Skills:
Essentials:
Number one on any dragon is Healing wind.
Cyclone Assault for the evolution skill.

Highly recommended skills:
Souleater Impact for the evolution skill.
Ferocity enhancement, again to capitalize on it's high base stat.
Will To Live - Your dragon will die, this keeps him in the game for much longer, escpecially when combined with Souleater impact evo skill.
Magic Skin - You are weak against magic damage. That will boost your magic defense ALOT. (consider the exponential damage reduction)

That's all you need for a working swiftfoot. Feel free to add your own skills. Though I have to say a personal favorite of mine is dragon scythe. Use it after cyclone assault for lovely results.

Guide Lunar New Year - Oriental/Eastern dragon.

Dear community.

Oriental dragon are rare, in that they just not only spawn rarely but also limited in time.
7 days every year.
The first day is the day of the lunar new year, after this day you have 6 days left to capture oriental dragons.
This year, 2019, the first day was on February the 2nd of 2019.
Every day of this event a different oriental dragon spawns. Their order is set.
The following list was provided by Gemini.
Lunar Festival Eastern Spawn Days:
Day One: Guangren (Green)
Day Two: Diamond Fortune (White)
Day Three: Kazer (Red)
Day Four: Shunji (Blue)
Day Five: Lingze (Black)
Day Six: Fuying (Orange)
Day Seven: Sunmoon (Purple)

Oriental dragons spawn on ancient pathways. These are the paths ways roaming ancients dragons follow on a map. All maps who have roaming ancients except Thadrea, Porthis and Sitheran can spawn these eastern dragons.
For example Dark Flame on Alentia follows this path.
300

Credits go to Gemini/Wolf for the following.
Eastern Dragons won't spawn instantly after reset but take 3 to 4 hours to spawn. After they have been captured they will respawn every 2 to 4 hours.
An Eastern dragon will respawn instantly when killed or when an attempted capture failed though not at the same location but somewhere else along the road.
Though if an Eastern dragon was up for too long and is killed it will not respawn instantly.
Also, when an eastern wasn't captured nor killed , it won't despawn after reset. Rather it'll roam around still with the other eastern until it's captured or killed.

To prevent stealing, a party can tag the dragon by hitting it once. Be aware that the dragons level will be set to the players level who tagged it + 5. Therefore it is recommended to have a low level tag the dragon as else you will be stuck in a needlessly very long battle.

Thank you for reading and happy hunting.

Suggestion Implemented Indigo blue magic dust

Hey, just a quick suggestion. Indigo blue magic dust isn't in the marketplace, it would be nice if it was added. It creates a cool effect on weapons, but is given from the adventurer insignia merchant and cannot be added to weapon skins. If this was added to the marketplace, and perhaps for 500 shells like the lightning dust, that would be nice. I have provided an image of the weapon effect in this post.

Sorcerer 1H Riemist PvE (Glacial Guru)

I know it has been a while since my last post but you can chill out now,
because I am back with a cool support build ready to command and conquer!

ATTRIBUTE POINTS:
Full Charisma OR
200 Charisma (This build is not for fighting, you need this for strong dragons.)
121 Dragon Affinity (This is a sorcerer's favorite stat and Riemist is based on it. This stat provides extra damage, defenses, and hit points.)

BASIC MASTERIES:
Earth Shield 10/10 (hphphp, we also need this for a god skill)
Draconic Affinity 10/10 (your main stat, boost Shield of riemist hp)
Draconic Knowledge 10/10 (Need for strong dragons. We can't have a weak army can we?)
Ground Fissure 1/10 ( AoE repel)
Stasis 1/10 (Stun break with a little heal)
8 points left Put these in soul focus, cloth armor, or elemental scar. This build wants more AP but your heals can crit.

WEAPON MASTERIES:
Frost Beam 10/10 (This skill keeps damage flowing and lets you keep moving)
Summon Ice Giant 10/10 (Same as frost beam but in PvP this guy can be really annoying to players)
Roaring Thunder 10/10 (A fantastic move as always. With this build the damage is a little low but it has a stun and a great combo)
Frost Ring 10/10, left (we need to support or allies by distracting, freezing, and slowing. this move has a long freeze time.
Ice Shard 10/10 (A combo for Frost Ring. This will net you 25 AP and deal some decent damage)
Icy Armor 10/10 (Truly your most useful skill. anybody close enough that hits you will freeze or be slowed.

DRAGON GOD MASTERIES:
Shield of Riemist 10/10
(left, this amplifies earth shield a ton and makes it AoE. Can be 20K+ hp)
Frozen Blood 10/10, left (HEALSSSSS! When a skill YOU cast COULD freeze an enemy it will heal AoE around you and can crit.
Icy tornado 1/10, left (stun break, knockback, slows, forward penetration)
Frozen Impact 4/10, right (A foward cone attack that will freeze enemies)

This build is great for players that love dragons or like to be in control of the battle. If you want to change it a bit then take 5 from frost ring and put it in frost bolt and take 3 from frozen impact and put it into ice crystal strike(left).
For gear I suggest the dragon affinity set or the toughness set. For stats, you should maximize Charisma, Dragon Affinity, and crit chance. Other wanted stats are con, hp, int, and Natural damage.

Let me know what you think in the comments.
Thanks for reading and have a glorious day!
