Dragon Armor enchanting and Sharding?

Yesterday, someone was telling me that you could enchant and shard dragon equipment. Is this True?

That would be awesome and give a good bit of a boost with the dragon equipment you get from the Vanquishers insignias.

I tried it yesterday, but the DE did not show up int he window to enchant or in the backpack as equipment to enchant. i have not tried Sharding any yet.

It depends on the dragon equipment. All can't be destroyed. (hmm... I think it's the equipment we drop after the lv90).
