Announcement Marketplace Maintenance & Price Adjustments

As I announced on the Discord, we will be doing maintenance on marketplace for the next few weeks. The current marketplace is a combination of DP DragonFang, SkyDragon and Sakura Universe, and prices have not been adjusted to coincide with the increase in diamonds per dollar.

Some prices are going to increase, while others will likely decrease. Off the top of my head here is where prices will be changing:

Dragons:
  • Basic Dragons: 500 Diamonds ($2)
  • Rare Dragons: 1250 Diamonds ($5)
  • Special Dragons: 2625 Diamonds ($10)
  • Limited Dragons: 3750 Diamonds (~$15)
Costumes:
  • Costume Wings: 1250 Diamonds ($5)
  • Costume Packs: 1250 Diamonds ($5)
  • Weapon Costumes: 500 Diamonds ($2)
  • Dragon Costumes: 125 Diamonds ($.50)
Housing:
  • Land Warrants: Anything above 300x300 will be slightly increased, and some will be removed as plots aren't available normally. If we do add larger plots to the game, they will be sold as a special.
  • Houses: Will be re-priced based on 250:$1
Dragon Tools:
  • Unchained Energy: will be increased to 1250 ($5)
  • Dragon Enhancement: Some items will be raised or lowered to the new 250 Diamond standard (Probably 25-50 increase or reduction in price)
Utility:
  • Expansion Cards: Prices are either 125 ($.50) or 50 ($.20); primarily they're added for gifting.
  • Miscellaneous: Prices will slightly be adjusted but will primarily stay around 125 ($.50) or lower. Guild Reset will be set to 1250 ($5).
Currently EU is 150 Diamonds per Dollar, so while Diamond prices are similar, ours are still at least 40-50% cheaper in most cases. If there are concerns about specific item prices, I am more than willing to listen to any feedback.

The shell market is going to take the brunt of the overhaul, though I haven't yet gone over it much to see what needs to be changed (That will be happening later this week). After maintenance on Monday, we will be temporarily disabling the shell market so it is easier for me to work in, but items will be going up soon after (primarily Utility items).

I do not currently have estimates, and am unsure on how we will be addressing some things, but I would appreciate feedback or suggestions before or after the overhaul so that we can keep our players happy.

Coolio. Just dont pull an eu with the shell shop. If you really don't want it pay to win you got to make sure you keep the majority of items available in both markets. Well the super rare dragons dont need to be but many of the utility items should stay. When you do the prices remember that you tend to max out at 110 shells per day unless we get better vip. However that will max out at 170 per day or if you fix it 200 a day.

The plan isn't to cripple the shell shop, just to adjust prices and remove certain things that shouldn't have been there.

I'm more than open for suggestions on pricing things.

I based pricing on 100 shells per day, and have kept most prices about where they were at.

Dragons are likely going to be fairly gutted, but we will be doing sales for dragons every so often. I think only one item was removed, and that is only temporary currently.

Sweet. Yeah does have to include every dragon or item. If you did want to keep a couple of the more plain dragons in it would not be a bad idea for a promo or something. Also might be an idea to keep a eastern in the shell shop due to you not being able to cap them in the wild unless the Chinese New Year Event was going on. That just recently passed on EU so if you kept it in line it will be another 10-11 months before they spawn again.

The plan is to keep some of the more basic dragons in the market, with the market place dragons going on sale every so often.

Pets and Dragons will be re-added, I've just been busy with a few other things lately.

I'm planning on releasing dragons sometime next week as I still have to go through and label everything, then I will adjust prices and see what is being removed, added or adjusted.

We need to write a whole new GM panel due to how bad the one we have now is; it currently saves Moonlight Shop edits as Dragon Insignia, and that prevents us from adding anything to it.

Timed items on the shell shop will mostly be limited to one day until we can deal with the alt farming.
